this weekend @ sfbc - March 14th

sfbc family,

"Find It Here" is a state wide initiative to invite people to attend worship. Ky. Baptists are visiting their communities and delivering Find It Here bags to each home. We will be participating in Find It Here on Sunday evening March 28th. We will meet at church at 4pm to get our materials and then we will go into our areas and hang the invitation on doors all over our community. Our bag contains information about our church and ministry, a special invitation to attend Easter worship, a tract that presents the gospel, and a cd (The Invitation by Rick Warren). We hope to deliver at least 1,000 of these bags on this night. Please think about participating on March 28th, we need drivers and people who will go and invite others. Here is a mission opportunity right here in our community, that will reach more than 1000 homes!

We will also meet back at the church at 7pm that night to celebrate and pray (some snacks will be available too). This will be a great Sunday to get your whole family involved in a mission activity at South Fork. Hope you will help us share the gospel ONE home at a time!

Time changes this Sunday (when you go to bed Saturday night). Time to Spring ahead one hour. I am looking forward to Spring and the things it brings.

Find It Here
This is an emphasis to invite our friends and family to attend church. Almost every Ky Baptist Church is involved. We are preparing bags to be given away with information about our church. We are currently copying a cd to put into the bag. We need help stuffing a few of the bags. If you can give an hour or two to help any day, please contact Pam at the church office. Once the bags are stuffed we will be providing them for you to give away. Thank you for helping!

Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions
Take a moment to pray for our missionaries serving in North America today. This week we are observing the week of pray and began to receive the Annie Armstrong offering. Annie's offering goes to help church planters, missionaries, and outreach to the millions of lost people in North America. The lostness here at home is growing as we see more and more people reject Christ and find a number of people who are dechurched growing at a rapid rate. Visit http://www.anniearmstrong.com/ for more information. Our church offering goal is $1800. We will receive the offering until Easter Sunday.

Easter Candy Donations
We need candy for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Please bring bags of individually wrapped candy and drop it off in the tub located near the welcome center. We need your candy donations by Wednesday night, March 28th. See Kelly Hornback or Machelle McDowell if you are interested in helping to prepare the eggs for the hunt.

Children's Easter Program and Egg Hunt
Our Children will be performing "It All Happened in the City" on Saturday, April 3rd at 10am. Followed by our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Please attend this opportunity to worship with your family Easter Weekend.

Two Service schedule begins Easter Sunday - April 4th
We will have two Sunday Morning worship services beginning Easter Sunday, April 4th. The schedule will be 8:30am worship, 10am Sunday School, 11am worship. We need volunteers to serve in the nursery and as greeters for the 8:30am service. Nursery volunteers will serve from 8:30am until 10am on a rotating schedule. Please sign up at the welcome center.
